Queen City Table | Porkopolis
Enjoy a four-course dining experience with local food historian Alan Wight, PhD. Dr. Wight will lead diners through the region's fascinating history that includes hog breeding, pork packing, and early industrial innovations. Learn more about the people, farms, and entrepreneurs behind the food systems that led Cincinnati to be crowned Porkopolis in the early 1800s. This educational and cultural experience is inspired by Dr. Wight's recent publication, Cincinnati's Foodshed: An Art Atlas, a beautiful illustrated book which uses art, maps, infographics, and timelines to bring our city's past to life.
