Enjoy a four-course dining experience with local food expert and historian, Professor Alan Wight, PhD. You will be led through the region's fascinating history and contributions related to our region's fruit and fungi. Learn more about the Tribal Nations, farmers, orchardists, permaculturalists, and entrepreneurs behind the domestication and popularization of favorites such as lions mane, golden enoki, chantarelle, and morel mushrooms, black raspberries, mulberries, pawpaws, and more.
This multi-sensory educational and cultural experience is inspired by Dr. Wight's recent publication, Cincinnati's Foodshed: An Art Atlas, an illustrated book which uses art, maps, infographics and timelines to bring our past alive, showcase our present, and dream of a bright future.
